The Revenue-boosting Webshop takes the booking. The AI Sales & Support Agent wins the visitor who still has a question. From now on, they work as one system.

Two people are on your website at the same time. The first one knows exactly which ticket they want. They pick a date, pay, and are done in ninety seconds. The second one is just as interested, but they have one question left. Is there parking for a minibus. Does the tour work for a five-year-old. What happens if it rains on Saturday. They look for the answer, don’t find it, and close the tab.

Most attraction websites are built for the first visitor and quietly lose the second one. That is not a support gap, it is a revenue gap, and it is the larger of the two. The bookingkit AI Revenue Engine exists to close it.

What the AI Revenue Engine is

It is not a new product bolted onto your site. It is two components that already do their jobs well, now running as one system:

ComponentIts job on your website
Revenue-boosting WebshopTakes the booking. Built for the visitor who already knows what they want.
AI Sales & Support AgentAnswers the question and hands over a pre-filled checkout link. Built for the visitor who hesitates.

The agent is built together with our partner PUNKU.AI and went live on 30 July 2026. If you are already running the Webshop, or already running the agent, you have half of this. This post is about what happens when you have both.

Layer one: the Webshop takes the booking

The Revenue-boosting Webshop replaced the classic booking widget, and it does one thing extremely well. It converts intent that is already there.

The numbers are ours and they are measured, not modelled. Across a sample of 62 bookingkit operators, the Webshop lifted conversion by 3.3 percentage points in absolute terms, roughly 60% relative to the classic widget. It is mobile-first, which matters when most of your visitors arrive on a phone. It pulls its colours and branding straight from your bookingkit settings, so it stays current without a developer.

If you are still on the classic widget, that 3.3 point difference is not a projection. It is bookings you are not taking this season.

Layer two: the agent wins the visitor who hesitates

The Webshop is very good at closing a decision. It cannot make one.

That is what the AI Sales & Support Agent is for, and one architectural detail is what separates it from every generic chatbot you have been pitched. It is wired directly into your live bookingkit inventory. A standalone bot can tell a visitor your opening hours. It cannot tell them whether Saturday at 2 PM still has eleven spots, and it certainly cannot sell them those spots. The bookingkit agent checks real availability, recommends the experience that actually fits, and generates a pre-filled checkout link inside the conversation. The visitor clicks, pays, and never leaves the chat.

Alongside that, it handles 80 to 90% of the repetitive questions your team answers every week, in 28 languages, around the clock.

We covered the agent in full detail, including three customer stories, in our launch post. Worth reading if it is new to you.

Why the two together beat either one alone

This is the part that is easy to miss. Adding the agent to the Webshop is not an incremental improvement to the same funnel. It is a second funnel.

They serve different visitors. The Webshop converts intent that already exists. The agent creates intent that would otherwise have leaked away, the question that never got asked, the hesitation that turned into a closed tab. The two effects sit on different parts of your traffic, so they add up rather than compete.

And a visitor can move between them. This is where the two stop behaving like two. When both are live, the Webshop carries a chat option at the top. A visitor who stalls in the booking flow, who cannot find the right option or has one question left, does not have to back out and start over somewhere else. They open the chat, the AI Sales & Support Agent takes over, and once the question is answered the conversation hands them into checkout. Webshop to chat to booking, in one unbroken line. The two keep their own triggers on your site, because the chat has its own icon, greeting and personality, but the path between them is open.

One embed code, no double integration. A single snippet activates both the booking widget and the AI agent. Nothing to wire up twice, nothing to update twice, and no second vendor for your IT team to manage.

One place to configure. Colours and branding pass through from your bookingkit settings to both components. When you refresh your site, nothing needs re-syncing by hand.

The short version, and a useful line if you are explaining this internally: the widget handles direct bookings, the chat handles questions and converts them into bookings.

What it looks like on a live site

Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens is the clearest illustration, because its numbers show exactly where the second layer earns its place.

In the first two months, the agent handled 635 visitor sessions, produced 107 booking requests and saved the team 48 hours of work. More than 30% of all conversations turned into a booking. And 56% of those interactions happened outside opening hours.

That last figure is the whole argument in one number. More than half the demand arrived when nobody was there to answer it, which means no amount of optimisation to the booking layer alone would ever have captured it. Your website does not close. Until now, your inbox did.

“We implemented an AI chatbot for Swarovski Crystal Worlds that handles hundreds of visitor interactions, significantly reduces the team’s workload by cutting calls and email back-and-forth, and turns more than 30% of conversations into bookings.”

— Team Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Wattens

Museum der Illusionen Hamburg tells the same story from the operations side: 90% of inquiries handled with no human involvement, around 2.5 hours of admin work saved every week, and a monthly net saving of €1,411 after AI costs.

What each team gets out of it

Worth forwarding to the people who will actually have an opinion:

  • Owner or GM: a new revenue channel that runs without adding headcount.
  • Operations and customer service: the repetitive inquiry load drops, booking quality does not.
  • Marketing and digital: a branded, conversion-optimised touchpoint on your own website, under your own control.
  • IT: no new embed code, plugs into the widget that is already there, no development work.

Getting started

Where you go next depends on what you are running today.

  1. Still on the classic widget? Move to the Revenue-boosting Webshop first. That is the measured conversion gain, and it is the foundation the rest sits on.
  2. Already on the Webshop? Add the AI Sales & Support Agent. That is your second conversion layer.
  3. Running the agent on its own? Upgrade to the full AI Revenue Engine. This is where the two effects start compounding.

Setup takes no developer work in any of the three cases. It plugs into the widget you already have, learns from the content you already publish, and goes live in days rather than weeks. Most venues recover the cost within the first few weeks of running it.
