The AI that doesn’t just answer questions. It closes bookings.
Product & Partners
Meet the bookingkit AI Sales & Support Agent: the chat that turns a visitor’s question into a paid ticket, without ever leaving the conversation.
It is 10 PM. Someone is on your website, halfway to booking, and they have one question left. Is there parking for a minibus? Do the kids’ tickets work for a group of eleven? They send an email. Your team answers it the next morning at nine. By then, the visitor has booked somewhere else.
That gap between a question and a booking is not a support problem. It is a revenue problem, and it is bigger than most operators think. At Swarovski Kristallwelten, 56% of visitor interactions happen outside opening hours: more than half the demand arrives when nobody is there to answer. Your website never closes. Until now, your inbox did.
What’s new
The bookingkit AI Sales & Support Agent is live. Built together with our partner PUNKU.AI, it sits on your website, answers visitor questions around the clock in 28 languages, and takes the conversation all the way to a completed booking.
It is not a bolt-on. It reads your real-time availability from bookingkit, picks up your brand colours automatically, and works alongside the booking widget you already have, from a single embed code.

Why this isn’t just another chatbot
Most chatbots answer a question and then hope the visitor finds their own way to checkout. They can’t do much else, because they aren’t connected to the system that actually holds your inventory. They can tell someone your opening hours. They cannot tell them whether Saturday at 2 PM still has eleven spots.
The bookingkit agent is wired directly into your booking engine. That single architectural difference changes what a conversation can do:
- A visitor asks. “Do you have something for a group of eleven on Saturday afternoon, with kids aged five to eight?”
- The agent checks and recommends. It compares your experiences, reads live availability, and suggests the one that actually fits, with the right pricing for the group.
- The agent closes. It generates a pre-filled checkout link on the spot. The visitor clicks, pays, and is done, inside the same chat window.
No handover. No “please visit our booking page.” No lost momentum. The chat becomes a sales channel.
What it takes off your team’s plate
- The same fifty questions, handled. 80–90% of repetitive inquiries, opening hours, parking, cancellation policy, are answered instantly and correctly.
- Group and B2B inquiries, without the email ping-pong. Pricing and capacity questions that normally take four messages take one conversation.
- International visitors, served in their language. 28 languages covered, which matters when a large share of your audience is on holiday and not local.
- No answer-scripting. The agent learns from your website and your existing documents. You don’t build a decision tree, and you don’t maintain one.
- On-brand automatically. Colours and branding pass through from your bookingkit settings to both the widget and the chat. Nothing to re-configure when you refresh your site.
Your team stops clearing an inbox and goes back to what people actually visit you for.
What it looks like in practice
Museum der Illusionen Hamburg: 90% of inquiries handled without a human
At Museum der Illusionen Hamburg the agent goes by the name “Illu” and has become part of the visitor experience rather than a layer in front of it. It handles 90% of inquiries with no human involvement, saves the team around 2.5 hours of admin work every week, and nets €1,411 in monthly savings after AI costs. On top of that, it opened a revenue stream the museum simply didn’t have before: bookings sold through the website chat.
“Illu has become an essential part of our visitor experience. It answers questions we didn’t even know our guests had, and it never stops working. Our team can now focus on creating memorable moments inside the museum instead of answering the same emails over and over.”
— Charlyn Schröder, Marketing & Sales, Museum der Illusionen Hamburg
Swarovski Kristallwelten: more than 30% of conversations become bookings
In its first two months, the agent at Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens handled 635 visitor sessions, produced 107 booking requests and saved the team 48 hours of work. More than 30% of all conversations converted into a booking. And 56% of those interactions happened outside opening hours, which is exactly the demand that used to go unanswered until the next morning.
“We implemented an AI chatbot for Swarovski Kristallwelten that handles hundreds of visitor interactions, significantly reduces the team’s workload by cutting calls and email back-and-forth, and turns more than 30% of conversations into bookings.”
— Team Swarovski Kristallwelten, Wattens
TimeRide: from 19 to 494 conversations a month
TimeRide, Germany’s leading VR time-travel experience with locations in Cologne, Frankfurt and Dresden, grew its agent from 19 to 494 monthly sessions in under a year, a 26-fold increase. Between August and December 2025 alone it handled 1,842 conversations automatically and generated €3,584 in direct revenue, with visitors completing checkouts as late as ten in the evening.
“The AI doesn’t just chat, it sells. Almost 8% of all interactions lead to a direct checkout opportunity. We grew from 19 to 494 monthly sessions while drastically cutting support costs.”
— André Sudradjat, Team Lead Online Sales, TimeRide

Where this fits: the Revenue-boosting Webshop and the AI Revenue Engine
The agent is one half of a bigger idea.
The other half is the Revenue-boosting Webshop, which you may already be using. It replaced the classic booking widget and it does one job extremely well: it takes the booking. Across a sample of 62 bookingkit operators, it lifted conversion by 3.3 percentage points absolute, around 60% relative compared to the classic widget. If you are still on the classic widget, that difference is bookings you are currently not taking.
The AI Sales & Support Agent adds a second conversion layer on top. The Webshop converts the visitors who already know what they want. The agent wins back the ones who hesitate, the ones with a question, the ones who would otherwise close the tab.
Together, they form the bookingkit AI Revenue Engine: one embed code, two revenue engines, no double integration and no chat bubble colliding with a booking button on mobile. The two triggers stay separate on purpose, so the chat keeps its own personality, but they read the same brand colours and behave like one experience.
If you are running the agent on its own, upgrading to the full AI Revenue Engine is where the compounding happens. We’ll cover the combined setup in detail in a follow-up post.
Getting started
The AI Sales & Support Agent is available now for all bookingkit operators. Setup takes no developer work: it plugs into the widget you already have, learns from the content you already publish, and goes live in days rather than weeks. Most venues recover the cost within the first few weeks of running it.
To see it on your own site, talk to your bookingkit contact or book a demo.
