How many new customers can the new bookingkit win me?

The new bookingkit features targeted optimizations in line with the latest e-commerce standards, as well as a range of improvements based on our own extensive research. Since initial release of the new version seven weeks ago, we’ve been comparing performance between customers who have and have not activated the new Widget 2.0 and Checkout 2.0 features and have also been looking at performance differences between mobile devices and desktop PCs. The results are pretty clear: the sooner you update, the better.


Widget 2.0 increases number of potential customers by 9%

With Widget 2.0, the number of website visitors who actually enter into the booking process has gone up by 9% when compared to Widget 1.0. On mobile devices, the difference is even more pronounced, with the number of potential customers jumping by as much as 14.4%. Combined with the general rise in the number of bookings placed on mobile devices, these are fantastic results.

17.4% more bookings with Checkout 2.0

With Checkout 2.0’s new optimized design, we’re seeing booking rates — the number of potential customers who actually follow through with their booking — increase by 17.4% on average compared to the old checkout system. Once again, mobile performance is even better, with booking rates increasing by as much as 25%.
Our recommendation: If most of your bookings are coming from desktop users, you might want to have a look at how your website performs on mobile devices (display, usability) or try using well-established online platforms such as WordPress. Then, upgrade to the all-new bookingkit and add the Widget 2.0 feature to your site.
